Tweet What a very busy day we had today. We actually had to set an alarm, gasp! Our feet hit the floor and we started running. The homestudy started promptly at nine. It was a wonderful visit. Lots of reminiscing about my childhood and wonderful memories of how Hubs and I met. Our social worker drank coffee with us and listened to our excitement about bringing a beautiful Ethiopian baby into our home.
After lunch Hubs and I headed to town for our adoption physicals. We had back to back appointments. The nurse asked me "Why aren't you adopting from the United States?" God gave me the words and without a beat I replied because we are all God's children and we are not constrained by borders. Yay God! That lead to a little witnessing on my part, more YAY God!
We zoomed back home. Little Bit had been out with Nana and Pap Pap since this morning and our day was no where near over. I got a call from my Grandma when we got home. She wanted Nick to put new windshield wiper blades on her car. You don't put this stuff off for my Grandma. She is 85 so I figure if she asks we can comply. Nick raced in to Grandma's. Little Bit came home while he was out. I threw together some breakfast for dinner and we shoveled it in.
We threw Little Bit into car and took him to music class. He really enjoyed it and so did I. Hubs not so much but he tried. Then we raced back home where Hubs booted us out of the car and he made his way to the Deacon meeting at Church. Little Bit finally crashed at 8pm. Whew, what a blessedly busy day!
