Homestudy in the Morning

I have been frantic today. Little Bit went out with Nana and Pap Pap at 10 and I cleaned until they brought him home at 3:30. I'm sore and tired but it is all worth it.

I remember the last time I felt compelled to clean with such vigor was when I was pregnant with Little Bit. I am labeling this frantic obsessive scouring of everything within the confines of my house as adoption nesting.

Of course this nesting was inspired by the fact that we have our first homestudy in the morning at 9 am. Is the house as clean as I would have liked? Nope. Is he even here to look over the house? Nope. Did I still take it upon myself to clean it from top to bottom? Yep. Adoption nesting, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

    It sounds like a good story to me!!

    I have been cleaning as well. My basement looks so nice now that I have taken the time to get it cleaned and put into order.

    Don't you just love walking through and seeing how clean things are after you are finished?
