I was so incredibly blessed to receive a copy of the film Magdalena: Through Her Eyes to enjoy and share with you. This movie tells the story of Mary Magdalene. Mary was possessed by seven demons and our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ freed her from her prison! Then something just as miraculous happened. Jesus invited Mary to come with him. Mary represents one of the women who were in Jesus' inner circle. To understand this you must realize that women during biblical times led secluded lives. Women were not allowed to talk to men in public, testify in court, or talk with men at social gatherings. These women were not allowed education, they were not appreciated, and they were segregated. Jesus deemed this woman worthy. Worthy to be saved. Worthy to learn. Worthy to teach. Worthy.
This movie explores how women need to discover their real value. The movie comes with a wonderful Bible study and gives support for hosting a small gathering in your home or a large one at your Church. I think either one would be a fantastic way for women to gather together and share some fellowship.

This is my confirmation saint name! I thought her story was absolutely amazing to see what she came through and how she ended up! A wonderful story. I went through RCIA later on in life and people couldn't believe I chose her but her story is just amazing!
