31 Hours of No Internet O.o

Happy Thursday everyone. I finally have internet after 31 hours. ACCCCCCK! How can a company let their internet be down so long? I found out from our local paper that their router had died. Hubs is a computer engineer and said this sort of thing should never have happened. They (a) should have had another on hand or (b) had a four hour warranty to have someone fix it. Frustration. Crappy thing is there is no one else that offers internet to my area. They have a monopoly. What we pay for DSL a coworker of hubs pays the same amount and gets a T-1 line. NO FAIR. Anywho, enough ranting. How has your day been? Having a happy Thursday?

  1. Ugh, how awful -- I would hate that! Somehow I suspect that I should be a good mom and say how that would give me so much more quality time with my kids but they've been underfoot all week due to the snow/ice -- I'm ready for less quality time for a bit :-)

Glad to hear you are back!

  7. Marie,

We did have good quality time on the first day because he was in a terrific mood. The second day he developed a case of the terrible ones and nothing I did pleased him. I'm pretty sure I was bothering him because I was bored. Poor kid just wanted to be left alone but Momma didn't have her toy, lol!
