Love Every Moment At Virginia Beach

Beach vacations are this Momma's ultimate idea of a good time. I love the feel of sand in my toes and the sun on my face. Paired with the beautiful scenery of the beach is the night life. The taste of delicious fresh seafood, the thrill of finding silly gifts, getting a temporary tattoo, and many other fun adventures. The place that springs to mind when I think of all these things is Virginia Beach.

There are so many things to do at Virginia Beach that one week is certainly not enough time to explore them all. Over the years I have had the great pleasure to scout out some very fun experiences. One of my all-time favorites is the aviary at the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center. As you can see from this picture I actually got to hold the birds. See my cute temporary tattoo on my arm? I'm much to chicken to get a real tattoo so having a temporary one put on at the beach is always a fun treat.

The aquarium also has a wonderful Imax theater. We watched a really cool movie about sharks. Check out my super cool glasses!

The fish and the aquarium were gorgeous. It is a perfect way to beat the heat for an afternoon. The Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center is also be a perfect rainy day activity at Virginia Beach. Even rain can't stop the fun at Virginia Beach!

When the sun is shining you will find this Momma in the water or playing in the sand. Here is a beautiful mermaid my friend made in the sand. Often times I have seen beautiful works of art made in the sand at Virginia Beach. It amazes me the detail and beauty of the sand sculptures.

After you've spent sufficient amounts of time soaking up the sun and playing in the waves going into all the fun shops is a must! There are so many interesting trinkets and yummy treats. I am a goof and I will try on most anything to get a laugh. Don't I look lovely?

If you’re looking for a little more activity then I highly suggest checking out one of the many mini golf courses. This one had a safari theme. There were so many opportunities for fun photos. The course was pretty challenging but we had a good time playing through.

I am a foodie and I always look for the best places to eat and drink. Virginia Beach is filled with so many fantastic restaurants. A huge chunk of the fun is exploring as many as you can and making note of which one was your favorite.

If you're thinking about a beach vacation I highly encourage you to check out all the amenities at Virginia Beach. You will be glad you did! Happy vacationing!
