Momma and Little Bit Date Day

Today Little Bit and I had a nice little date. After his nap we headed out to our favorite restaurant. It is an itty bitty hole in the wall Thai joint. Little Bit enjoyed some panko chicken strips, broccoli, and rice while Momma got to nosh on oh so yummy sushi. The little Thai place is in a place called the walking mall. It is a historic area in our town and it is breathtaking any time of the year.

Little Bit got treated to two new pairs of shoes today. He wasn't nearly as excited about it as Momma was. After that we went to the Discovery Museum for some play time. We ended our special day by going to Starbucks. Iced coffee for Momma and cookies for Little Bit. Even though I am a stay at home Momma these date days are still very special. They are a wonderful break from the everyday routine. Do you have special date days with your Little Bits? What fun things do you do to let them know their special?

  7. I love how there were special times for each of you wherever you went. I used to love getting out when my children were young. The library was always on our list and just like your day held excitement for the girls and excitement for me, too.
