My dream for Little Bit is that he grow up to be a strong man of God. I pray that he will grow to love the Lord. I pray that his path will lead him to a good education. That he will humbly use his education to serve others and love his neighbor as himself. I also pray that along this journey he finds a Godly woman to marry and have me a hoard of beautiful grandchildren. That is my dream for Little Bit.

That dream is fueled by a college education. In order for Little Bit to be a good servant he must make his way in the world. Today you absolutely must have an education to do that. Let's face it though, college is expensive. Coming out of school with a $500 a month student loan payment seriously hinders a person's ability to be a fruitful giver.

To offset this burden Hubs and I do simple things to help Little Bit when the time comes to pay for college. One of those things is a Upromise account. When I buy things with the card that my Upromise account is linked to money is set aside for Little Bit. If that is not awesome enough they are celebrating their 10 year anniversary by giving away a total of 20,000 dollars to parents who share their dream for their child.

The first paragraph of this post is my dream that I shared on Upromise. I highly encourage you to join me and share your dream for your Little Bits.  Get inspired by others stories and vote for the ones that you like the most. Let's all band together to encourage and get excited about sending our future servants to college!

  1. What a great post and a great idea. I've seen UPromise advertisements tucked in with my student loan emails, now I will have to check it out more closely.

  2. I really need to look into Upromise again...I only have 14 years before I have to start paying for college :0! Little Bit will be so blessed when it's time for him to start college and you have already worked so hard to help him with it.
