Trials and Tribulations

Today started with a flair of ickiness. Little Bit refused to let me change his pamper and ended up banging his head pretty badly on the changing table. I had to yell for hubs to get out of bed and assist me. I was covered in a pretty smelly substance. One of the dogs peed on the floor while we were cleaning up Little Bit and his mess. Then I noticed we were out of eggs. I called Mom and Dad to see if they had any to spare. They did but both Mom and Dad have a nasty cold this morning and I didn't want to get their germs on me. I went to the local convenience store and paid waaaaaay to much for them. Got home and another one of the dogs got sick on the floor. Now I am waiting to take Little Bit to the doctor for some shots.

I was despairing this morning after all this went wrong. Also, I have been reading some pretty sad stories across the blogshpere lately. My heart aches for these people. I know my own tribulations are not that big but sometimes it's the little things that mount up into big things.

I am taking the time to praise God for testing me. That means he loves me. I was reading some verses and this one really spoke to me.

"And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. " 1 Peter 5:10

Even though today is hard I am saved and that is good. I hope you are all having a great Tuesday. If your not I am praying for all of us being tested today.

Hugs,

Amy
