Water Sensory Bin

The weather has been making for some lovely outside play time. Little Bit is a huge fan of water so I thought a water sensory bin would be right up his alley.

He had lots of fun pouring and dumping the water. After he was bored of that he decided that being in the bin would be loads of fun.

Ah well, at least his shoes are clean now...

  1. You know, you can buy very expensive toys for kids, but.... Give them a box or a bin and they will play for hours.

  2. I did this with my oldest when he was young :) I love how easy kids can be sometimes, just water and a few cups or bowls to empty fill to mess around with and they'd be happy! :)

  3. My daughters favorite toy was an Quaker Oats container.
It was a drum, storage place and several other things she converted it in to.

  5. Water is best when you're right in the middle of it. He looks like he's having a great time! Happy Monday Sweetie!

  6. We did this last year and my boys loved it...definitely a repeat activity we need to do this year. I had hear that if you put the bin up on chairs or a table that the kids don't climb in, which seemed to work for my boys, but when it's hot outside, climbing in is probably the best way to enjoy the water bin! :)

  7. Simple yet great idea...my son loves to play with the water station at school. I don't know why I never thought of making my own at home!

  8. That is such a great idea. I have no clue why I did not do that when it was hot this weekend. Little Bit must have enjoyed the water fun.
