Happy Grandparents Day!

Little Bit is so very blessed to have a doting Nana, Pap Pap, and Grandma. I have been trying to encourage him to make them cards all week. He would much rather throw crayons then color with them. Alas, we were at the zero hour with no cards in hand. Finally this morning I put some finger paint on a plate, dipped his hands in it, and then pressed it unto some white construction paper. I folded the paper in half and wrote a little message inside. Nana and Pap Pap live next door so that one was delivered by Momma this evening. Little Bit could not make an appearance due to a short nap and a bad attitude. Grandma lives several hours away so her card will be mailed in the morning. How do you and your children honor Grandparents Day?

  6. weeks before hand I had every good intention of making cards and kept putting it off until suddenly someone on Facebook mentioned Happy Grandparents Day and I felt horrible...my son made a card in pre-K on Monday which we promptly mailed to his grandparents :)

I'm so jealous of Little Bit that he has such wonderful grandparents next door. My boys have grandparents 8 hours of driving or 18 hours of driving away and don't see them nearly enough :(.
