I love the internet. I love it for so many reasons. One of those reasons is how it sometimes triggers my less than perfect memory. Hubs has been away this week on travel. That means that Momma has been doing all of his Little Bit duties. One of those is bath time. During bath time Little Bit gets scrubbed from head to toe which also entails brushing his teeth. Last week he ran out of toothpaste. I was "supposed" to pick it up when I went shopping. Errr, it so didn't happen. All this week his teeth were brushed with water. Yesterday Little Bit was in rare form. When I was perusing the internet I cam across Colgate and Walmart's Building Smiles Tour which in turn reminded me to buy toothpaste;D
Upon further investigation I found that the Building Smiles Tour is a pretty neat project. RV's go to select Walmart stores around the country and Dentists volunteer their time to provide free dental evaluations for children.
I looked it up but unfortunately none are near me. That's a bummer because I really need to get Little Bit in for his first dental exam. In fact we all need a dental exam. Hubs is the best about getting his teeth examined but he also has the worst teeth. I shammingly admit that I avoid the dentist like the plague. I am PETRIFIED of them. It is my goal not to pass this fear to Little Bit.
Pap Pap, Little Bit and I braved the 106 degree heat in search of toothpaste and a respite from toddler tantrums. Dad and I had a hard time finding the kids toothpaste. We had to go all the way down the aisle only to find it at the beginning of the aisle on the other side. I wanted to get Little Bit a toothbrush also but there weren't any for little guys. Alas, a reason to come back. Little Bit naturally tried to eat his toothpaste box so it had to be put in the cart. A nice big toddler sized fit followed, le sigh. At least I don't have to brush his teeth with water tonight.
What is your favorite brand of oral care product? Have you ever heard of the Building Smiles Tour? Are you lucky enough to have one visiting near you? If your interested in seeing more of our trip to Walmart check out my This Moment post.
Disclosure: This shop has been compensated as part of an insight study with #CollectiveBias. I did need toothpaste and all the content in this post was written by yours truly. I only ever recommend things I like and use.
