Praying For Patience

I know this is the taboo prayer for Christians but I have done some serious praying for patience today. Little Bit has had a cold and teething for the past few weeks. Honestly, my patience is all but gone.

"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18

I called hubs home early from work. I feel drained. Emotionally exhausted.

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:28-29

Please pray for Little Bit to feel better and for Momma to have a limitless supply of patience. Thanks everyone!

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4

  1. Teething is hard, no joke. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you, even during such times as this :) Following you from the Thursday Hop! Would love if you'd stop by my blog, thanks!

  5. When patience is straining and about to pop think of this - I will NEVER hear that, cuddle that. I will never hear 'mummy'. My sleepless nights are filled with tearful dreams of a daughter or son ill never know. Thought it might help to hear that?

Anyhow, I'm here, following from the hop - shah at wordsinsync.blogspot.com X

  9. I was thinking the same exact thing this morning. I have two girls, 4 and 8. We started the week with the little one having a stomach bug. We're now all home together again because the big one has a sore throat and fever. We've been sick over and over this winter and I feel like I might lose it today. I'm praying for you if you could pray for me!
