Meetup and Macaroni Kid

Since I became a stay at home Mom my world has gotten ever smaller. My interaction with adults has decreased to Friday night Bible study and Sunday morning Church. I miss talking to grown ups.

When I had Little Bit I had no idea of what there was to do with a baby in my area. Even though I have lived here my whole life I never paid attention to things aimed at families. A few months ago I found a fantastic website called Macaroni Kid. This is a nationwide site that has writers who may live in your community. Those writers find kid friendly activities and list them on their Macaroni Kid page. Breakthrough moment let me tell you. Hubs and I have found many fun things to do with Little Bit since then.

I was still lonely though. I needed a Mommy group. I'm not sure why I didn't think of it sooner but I emailed the writer for my local Macaroni Kid and asked her about Mommmy clubs. She told me about Meetup. I searched and found TWO Mommy clubs in my area! I am going to my first event tomorrow. Little Bit and I are headed to Chick-Fil-A to nosh on yummy chicken and visit with other Moms.

If you need to get out or talk to other Momma's check out Macaroni Kid and Meetup. They may just have the Moms you've been looking for and the cool things to do all neatly arranged and listed. Happy socializing!

    hope you have fun. Oh how I miss Chic Fil A!There are none of those in Germany. They have the best BBQ sauce.
