Weight Watchers Weigh In Day: Week One

Every week for accountability I am going to let you all know about my progress with Weight Watchers. This was my first real weigh in for loss or gain. Drum roll please.... I am down 3.8 pounds! I was beyond thrilled.

I also picked up a weight loss buddy. On Friday we had a barbeque for our small group Bible study at the house. I mentioned to one of my gal pals that I had joined Weight Watchers. She said she wanted to come with and I said, YAY! Having a pal will make this process much more enjoyable. It will make me more likely to go, have someone to cheer on, someone to pray for, and someone to do all those things for me.

This weeks meeting was all about being kind to myself. Man was that God's timing. I had beaten myself to a pulp mentally on Sunday. It was so encouraging to hear this message today.

My goal this week is to incorporate in some activity. I had so enjoyed my regular walks all summer and fall. Unfortunately, I stopped that good habit. This week I want to walk at least once. It's a small goal so I know I can meet it. My hope is that I will go beyond that and be super pleased with myself.
